The Forest County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet on Thursday, December 6th at the Crandon Public Library at 7:00 p.m. Items to be discussed include the recent donation of an early 20th century wedding gown, upcoming archival projects to be completed with grant funding from the Wisconsin Historical Society and the possibility of hosting upcoming genealogy classes. Anyone interested in preserving the history of Forest County is invited to attend. New members are always welcome.Â

A marriage license was issued in Waupaca county last week to Mr. Heinrick Mundt of Crandon and Miss Anna Witt of that county. Both young people have made their homes here the past year.Â

America, aged 12 years, daughter of Calvin Banks, died suddenly Wednesday morning of goitre. Her death came very suddenly. The funeral occurred Thursday, interment at Crandon.
