Crandon – Mr. and Mrs. Carl Whitt of Milwaukee are parents of a daughter born Monday in the Crandon hospital.

Reedsburg, Aug 27 – Mrs. Ida Schoephoester, 94, died Saturday in  the Mauston hospital.  Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dan Remington of Mauston, son Fred of Cotton Plant, Ark.

Shirlie Dale Chaney weds Raleigh R. Calhoun Jr. on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Nightingale of Minneapolis were killed in a head-on collision on an icy highway at Hudson, Wis., on the afternoon of Nov 28.

Mr. Nightingale was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Nightingale, who lived in Crandon from 1901 to 1919.

Survivors include a daughter, 2 sons, and three sisters.

Rhinelander – Delbert C. Fletcher died Thursday at St Mary’s hospital here.

Born Mar 21, 1878 in Oshkosh, WI.   He never married.

Survived by a brother and three sisters.

William Karl Peter, 83, of Crandon, died Saturday morning.

Deceased was born Nov 27, 1807 in Warsaw, Poland, and was married to Albertina Bolster in 1892.

Surviving are a daughter, son, and a stepson; a half-brother and a nephew.

Deceased was born Mary Andy Jessepe on Mar 1, 1918, in Soperton, the daughter of Joe and Helen Andy.

Wabeno – Mrs. Agnes Carney, 84 passed away Friday at the Milwaukee County hospital.

Deceased was born in Bohemia, Europe, in January, 1870, and then a child came to America.

Survived by son and daughter.

Deceased was born Nov 9, 1870, at Hustiford.  She came to Argonne in 1890 and resided there until seven years ago when she moved to Crandon.  She married William Turk in 1903.

Deceased was born at Nahma, MI, in 1885 and came to Wabeno from Menominee, MI in 1905.

Laona – Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock in the Presbyterian church for Louis Eli Beaudin, 48, a Laona business man.

Deceased was born Mar. 31, 1906, in Rhinelander.  He married Mercedes Starks on Feb. 9, 1928.

Wabeno – James Nemetz, 69, a resident of Wabeno, passed away at the Outagamie hospital Tuesday.

Services were conducted at 9 o’clock yesterday morning in St. Joseph’s Catholic church at Crandon for Joseph White, 74, of Mole Lake.

Deceased was born Jan 15, 1880 in Montreal, Canada.  He came to Crandon in 1924.  He has no known relatives.

Mrs. Andrew Baken, 68, of Wisconsin Dells, died Saturday at a Baraboo hospital after a long illness.

Surviving are her husband, Andrew; six sons, four sisters, and two brothers.

Green Bay – Dan Raymond, 71, of 1101 Thrush St., died in a local hospital Saturday after a short illness.

He worked in the lumber business with his father at Crandon until 1918 when he went to Florida to join his brother in a real estate firm.

Shawano – Mrs. George Hill, 58, of Shawano, died in Shawano Municipal hospital last Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Hill was born at Clintonville, Dec 23, 1895, a daughter of the late Albert Netzels.

Madison – Funeral services were held Sept. 2 for Thomas Deck Murray, 54, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley (Molly) Murray, formerly of Crandon, who died Setp. 23 at a Madison hospital.

Wabeno – Carl Victor Glader, 79, died at his home in Lakewood Friday afternoon after an illness of three years.
