Vital Record Search

Volunteers from the Forest County Historical & Genealogical society will complete a Vital Records Search of the submitted data below.  The Vital Record Search includes a transcription of the Birth, Marriage and/or Death records and a newspaper record of the event if available.   The Search will also include research in the Society’s Research room and Family files.  The cost of a Vital Record Search is $15 per hour (one hour minimum).

Vital Records Index Search:

Volunteers from the Forest County Historical & Genealogical Society will verify if a name exists in the Vital Records index at the Forest County Courthouse.  If a record does exist, information on obtaining the record will be forwarded to you.  A vital record index search includes birth/marriage/death. The cost of a Vital Records Index Search is $5 per name.

OBITUARIES:
Copies of obits are $5 per copy.
